Taos, New Mexico - Special Holiday season breaks! Get bargain prices immediately!

For a truly unique take on Xmas festivities, arrange a visit to Taos during the holiday. The town's Native American and Hispanic influences are undoubtedly popular, introducing a multicultural flourish to the christmas season with activities like the lighting of Ledoux Street, where the fabulous street's shops, studios, museums and galleries offer beverages, music and food, and bonfires to passersby's, and the avenue is lined up with farolitos, or small lanterns, warmly sparkling.

Taos's Xmas tree lighting happens at the end of November in a special event which involves carol singing and the arrival of Santa Claus in an antique fire truck. In the times preceding Xmas, the town also celebrates the Hispanic practice, "Las Posadas", a candlelight processional at Ranchos de Taos Plaza, in addition to a representation of Los Pastores, a Spanish morality play.
